Local Hiking

The family and I made some short day trips to local state parks this weekend. On Saturday we went to Gossett Tract State Park on Cedar Hill Rd. We hiked the trail around the field. Today we went to Narrows of the Harpeth, and we hiked the trail back to the tunnel. The trails at both parks are relatively easy and short. Coincidentally the State has decided to put up signs that read Harpeth River State Park, which is also used river parks on Highway 100 and McCrory Ln. If someone ever tells you to meet them at Harpeth River State Park, get the address.
