Weekend Roundup

It’s been quite a busy weekend. I re-installed Nagios from scratch. I periodically pick an app and re-install so that I can stay current. I also renewed the root certificate on my internal certificate authority, and I re-issued several certs for the apps that needed them. I also spent a few hours reading about UPS redundancy and DIACAP. Yes, I actually read up on the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process. I started reading up on DIACAP because I’ve been reading a lot lately on FISMA practices.

My entire weekend was not spent on technical things. I did manage to get 24 broccoli plants into some dirt. I had some help from my youngest. So far I’ve planted broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers, pumpkins, zucchini, hot peppers, basil, and rosemary. I’m just waiting on the tomato plants.
