Getting Rid of TimThumb

WordPress has been capable of generating its own thumbnails since version 2.9. The current release is now 3.0.4, and I’m still relying on TimThumb to create thumbnails. Well, today I took some time to remove TimThumb from the XenoActive.org site. The modified site will now rely on thumbnails that are created at upload time rather that thumbnails that are generated at the time of viewing.
